Class Descriptions:

Intro to Art (6-7 years old):
Saturdays 10:00-11:00am

This engaging and hands-on class is designed for young creators eager to explore the world of art. Through a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities, students will experiment with different art materials, techniques, and styles.

Each week, your child will:

  • Discover foundational art concepts like color, shape, and texture

  • Explore different mediums including painting, drawing, and simple crafts

  • Gain confidence in self-expression and creativity while developing fine motor skills

No prior experience is needed—just a love of creativity and a willingness to try new things!

Beginning Art (8-9 years old):
Saturdays 1:00-2:00pm

This exciting course introduces kids to some of the most famous painters, art styles, and periods in history. Through fun, hands-on projects, students will learn about iconic techniques while discovering their own creative voice.

Projects include but not limited to: Q-tip Pointillism, Tissue Paper Stained-Glass Windows, and Spatter Painting.

Students will explore painting techniques, develop an appreciation for artistic diversity, and gain confidence in expressing themselves through art. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or simply loves to create, this class is the perfect introduction to the wonders of art history and personal creativity!

Art 1 (10-11 years old):
Saturdays 2:30-3:30pm

An inspiring and dynamic class for students ready to take their creativity to the next level, this course builds on foundational skills while encouraging individual artistic expression.

Students will:

  • Explore more advanced techniques in drawing, painting, and mixed media

  • Experiment with perspective, shading, and color theory to bring their artwork to life

  • Learn about influential artists and art movements to inspire their own creations

  • Work on fun, skill-building projects like still-life drawings

This class emphasizes problem-solving, personal style, and confidence in art-making. Whether your child loves to sketch, paint, or try new mediums, Art 1 provides the tools and guidance they need to grow as an artist while having fun!

Art 2 (12+ years old):
Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm

Art 2 is an immersive class designed for older students ready to refine their artistic skills and explore more complex concepts. This course encourages creativity, critical thinking, and personal expression while building on foundational techniques.

Students will:

  • Dive deeper into drawing, painting, and mixed-media techniques, including advanced shading, perspective, and color blending

  • Explore diverse art forms such as watercolor painting and charcoal drawing

  • Create projects that challenge their skills and showcase their unique style

Art 2 provides a supportive space for students to develop their technical abilities and experiment with new ideas, all while building a portfolio of work they can be proud of. Perfect for young artists passionate about growing their talents!

I accept students with the Step-Up Scholarship and will provide you with the proper paperwork you need to receive reimbursement  
(proper invoice and Danielle’s Diploma of Bachelor of Arts in Drawing & Painting).

Registration includes a mandatory waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement, and an optional media release. 
Once enrolled, I will send you an invoice and the membership registration forms within 24 hours. Payment is due the day of class.
